VCF is a translucent square of material containing the active ingredient Nonoxynol-9, a wisely used, highly efficient spermicide. Of all the barrier methods, I think this is the best because it is NOT messy like foam, gel, or cream. You have to make sure hands are completely dry and be quick inserting it!
